Description:
This soundscape portrays the all-consuming breakdown that F. Scott Fitzgerald experienced and intricately documented in his world-renowned piece The Crack-Up. The plan for this portion of the project was to follow the highlights of this described breakdown that we had already chosen and presented in the Still Image section of this site. The carefully chosen, vital moments of this breakdown are chronologically projected into the sounds you hear on this page; as you will hear, Fitzgerald proactively moves from a full and busy life to a somber and lonely existence where he is basically left with the desires and values mirroring that of a canine.
